#Teens4Prep Health Volunteers

Communities that are healthier before a disaster strikes are better able to bounce back.  Teen health volunteers are helping their communities become stronger.  Some do it by volunteering at local hospitals.  Others choose to work with service organizations like the Medical Reserve Corps.  Others find entirely different ways to support health in their communities.

When teens choose to help out, they see the benefits.  They learn new skills and they get hands-on experience.  Vaccination clinics, emergency shelters and other places that make healthier people happen are fueled by great teamwork and creative problem solving – skills that are especially important when disaster strikes.

We all live, study, work and play in our communities. Volunteering can help make them stronger, healthier and just plain better.

Want to learn more from teen health volunteers? Check out the #Teens4Prep Video Series.

Looking for a great way to serve?  The Medical Reserve Corps offers a wide range of student health volunteer opportunities.  Contact your local MRC and find out how you can make a difference in your community.
