With 80 per cent of cardiac arrests happening in the home, it’s likely to be a loved one who needs help. If you come across someone in cardiac arrest, you have to act fast. You can give them the best chance to live if you’ve learnt in advance what to do.
Follow the four simple steps of C.A.R.E. now,
to make in sure in that moment every second counts.

As the nation's leading first aid charity, we want to teach everyone simple, life saving skills.
Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. We’re also always campaigning to raise awareness of first aid and directly educate the public.
