Thunderclap works by synchronizing social media around a particular moment in time.
When you create your campaign, you'll be asked to choose an end date. This is the date that the Thunderclap, or the simultaneous blast of your message to supporters' social media accounts, occurs.
We recommend choosing an end date that coincides with a significant moment, like an awareness day, an announcement or reveal, a live event, or a launch day.
A couple things to keep in mind:
- We suggest running a Thunderclap for 2-3 weeks. This gives you plenty of time to recruit supporters but still remain timely.
- A campaign cannot run publicly for more than 60 days.
- If you need to change your end date, you can upgrade to any one of our paid plans to enable the flexible end date feature.
