Did you know that every 40 seconds, someone, somewhere, dies by suicide. Consequently, every 41 seconds someone is left to make sense of the loss.
The University of Manchester are collaborating with Support After Suicide Partnership to conduct a national suicide bereavement survey. The aim is to explore the experiences and perceived needs of those bereaved or affected by suicide. The findings from this study will advance our understanding of the difficulties those bereaved by suicide face, inform government and those who come into contact with those bereaved by suicide and ultimately, inform the development of services for those bereaved by suicide in the future. We would like as many people as possible to complete the anonymous survey and hope that you and our Thunderclap message will enable us to spread the message even further!
