This National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health wants to empower women and girls to play their best defense against HIV and AIDS. For 25 years, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health (OWH) has been leading the nation’s charge for women’s and girls’ health by enacting policies, programs, and educational initiatives. OWH works to improve the health of all women and girls. The office leads National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day every year on March 10.
