Worker Memorial Day--Minnesota

Every year, Worker Memorial Day is held on April 28 to recognize those killed or injured on the job.

Among other things, MnDOT commemorates the day with 10 seconds of silence to honor those MnDOT employees and contract workers who have been injured or killed on the job.

Thanks to you, we made our goal and spread the word of work zone safety on Worker Memorial Day. You helped to honor our work crews in a new way today, a way that has the potential to reach 195,000 people.

The I-35W Bridge will be lit tonight in orange to honor the day.
