Support New England Music!

My name is Adam Blye, I have a passion to help others succeed, and I am a big music junkie. I used to work at a radio station in Boston, where I discovered that I am not alone in my love of music from the New England area. In the few years after I've left corporate radio, two major stations that support Boston area music have gone out of business. My goal is to create the outlet that will be the hub for discovering new music from New England: a 24-hour live-streaming internet radio station.

I currently host a music podcast titled Mutiny On The Microphone. Mutiny On The Microphone is dedicated to playing music by up-and-coming artists from the New England area. The goal of this campaign is to try to convert what was once a passionate hobby into a 24 hour live internet broadcast, an online radio station that is a hub for the people of New England to find and discover the next wave of great musicians that are living and playing in the area now.

The world needs to know how great of a music scene we have here in New England. There are SO MANY good bands out there right now, and it is unfortunate that people don't take the time to give them a listen. Now, I'm not talking about your buddy's cover band that plays at the bar down the street once a month, I mean original bands. Bands that have worked their butts off to create their music and have taken the time to get them recorded and finished by professionals.

I want to be the guy that helps you discover those bands. You won't believe how it's possible that the stuff you'll hear isn't on commercial radio yet. These bands have some of the best sounds in music, and I don't mean "yeah they're great...for a local band", I am telling you that you will wonder why these bands aren't getting played on radio stations across the globe. The best part is, you'll be able to get in on the ground level. You can discover the next big group from the Boston area, and tell people that you were able to help grow their audience, or see them in a smaller club before they started playing arenas and festivals. With your help, we can make that happen.
