On APRIL 28, a revolutionary new lifestyle guide will be released – THE PLANTPOWER WAY.

The Plantpower Way is not a traditional recipe book: It's a celebration of a simple and sustainable lifestyle that will give modern families across the globe a new perspective and path to living their best life. Bursting with inspiration, practical guidance, and beautiful photography, The Plantpower Way has more than 120 delicious, easy-to-prepare whole food recipes, including hearty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, plus healthful and delicious smoothies and juices, and decadent desserts. But beyond the plate, at its core, The Plantpower Way is a plant-centric lifestyle primer that finally provides the modern family with a highly accessible roadmap to long-term wellness and vibrant body, mind, and spirit health. It’s a celebration of a delicious, simple, and sustainable lifestyle that will give families across the country a new perspective and path to living their best life.

"This is not your typical recipe book. It is a book about hope, and the universally shared belief that any one of us can be better... You will not find better guides in that quest." —Dr. Sanjay Gupta

Adopting a plant-based lifestyle can alter our lives and save the planet.

  • Our food travels an average of 1,300 miles before it reaches our homes.
  • It takes one gallon of gasoline to produce one pound of beef.

  • We use eight times as much land for feeding livestock as we do for feeding humans.
  • Most estimates claim that it takes 10 to 16 pounds of grain and between 1,800 and 2,500 gallons of water go into producing one pound of beef.
  • Global food demand is rapidly increasing – following the current predicted population growth trends, global food demand is expected to double by 2050.
  • A plant-based diet cuts your carbon footprint by 50%.

  • Animal agriculture (including their byproducts) is the source of 51% of all global greenhouse gases.
  • 70% of Americans are obese or overweight. Worldwide, 500 million adults are obese and more than 1.5 billion are overweight. By 2030, nearly 60% of the world’s population could be obese.
  • Heart disease is America's #1 killer. 1 out of every 2 people will suffer from heart disease and 1 out of every 3 Americans will die of a heart attack.
  • By 2030, 50% of Americans will be diabetic or pre-diabetic.
  • 28 Million people across the word suffer from cancer.
  • 75% of all U.S. healthcare costs are attributable to these 4 conditions.
  • The irony? 80-90% of these and other chronic illnesses are preventible or reversible via a plant-based diet.

  • In the United States, two billion tons of untreated sewage is discharged into the environment from cows.

Created by renowned plant-based ultra-distance athlete and high-profile wellness advocate Rich Roll and his chef wife Julie Piatt, The Plantpower Way shares the joy and vibrant health they and their whole family have experienced living a plant-based lifestyle.

We need your help to share our message & save our planet for future generations.

  • Almost Time!

    Holy Cow!

I never in a million years thought we would reach 1 MILLION in social reach and here we are today quickly approaching 2 MILLION!

    Thank You!

This campaign has exceeded my wildest expectations and I have all of you to thank.

Right now we're just a day and a half away from what will be a gigantic viral THUNDERCLAP booming across all of your social media channels.

This is a true testament to the power of community. Right now the book sits at #83 of ALL BOOKS on Amazon. This is without one single iota of national press coverage. No TODAY Show. No CNN. No big magazine coverage. No TV whatsoever.

All of which makes everything so much more meaningful to us. The power of community - like minded individuals coming together to support an idea that truly can shift the face of health and wellness across America and the world.

    So again - thank you.

In these final hours, it would mean the world to me if you could share this campaign with your friends and together hit that 2 million mark.

So excited for Monday and know that Julie and I are filled to the brim with gratitude for all the love and support you have demonstrated.

With all the thunder and love I have,

Hey Everyone - just a quick note of extreme thanks for joining our Thunderclap campaign.

I can hardly believe it, but today we exceeded 1,000 subscribers and almost 700K in social reach -- and we still have 2 weeks to go!

Unbelievable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who took the time to support not only our little book, but the movement to help people everywhere embark upon, achieve and sustain a healthier way of eating and living.

The goal is to reach 1 million in social reach by April 27. So if you have any like minded friends or colleagues or social media connections who would be interested in what we are doing, and it feels right to you, we would of course love it if you spread the word with a link to this campaign.

To stay up to date with the pretty amazing giveaways we are sponsoring each week between now and April 27, visit this blog post (which I will be updating every Sunday night) and tune into future episodes of the podcast!

Thanks again for everything. Indeed, this is The Plantpower Way.

    Peace + Plants,

  • Thank You!

Wow I am overwhelmed with gratitude. In less than 48 hours since launching this campaign we have already exceeded 50% of our goal, which is 500 supporters. THANK YOU!

I deeply appreciate all who have donated their time, energy and social media platforms to lend a voice to the plant-based movement and helping us get a healthy message out to the mainstream.

If it feels right to you, you can help us reach our goal by spreading word about this campaign to your friends on social media. The more the merrier of course.

More updates to come -- just wanted to say thanks.

    Peace + Plants,
