Some of America's top faith leaders are sending Congress an inspiring new video to persuade them to protect #netneutrality - the principle that keeps the Internet a free and open space.

The video shows why we need net neutrality to build movements for social change -- for #BlackLivesMatter, #LoveWins, #99Percent, #Charleston, #Sikhs and more.

Will you help us send this video to Congress? Sign up for this Thunderclap! We are timing the Thunderclap to make the most impact in Congress in advance of a critical vote.

Right now, the Thunderclap will happen on Tuesday, July 28th at Noon EST. We will then go to the Hill and personally deliver the video and the names of all who join the Thunderclap, focusing on members of the Black Caucus. Together, we can persuade our lawmakers to vote their conscience.

BACKGROUND

Last year, millions of Americans called on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to keep the Internet an open and democratic space -- and we were heard. A few weeks ago, the Open Internet Order became law.

But now big carriers are pressuring members of Congress to attack this historic victory. Right now, Congress is considering an appropriations bill that would UNDO the Open Internet Order through the back door.

So Faithful Internet is amplifying the voices of America's faith and justice leaders to protect the Open Internet Order. When you sign up, you will be joining leaders such as Rev. William Barber, Sister Simone Campbell, Rev. Jacqui Lewis, Valarie Kaur, and Rev. Otis Moss III. To learn more, visit http://faithfulinternet.org
