Andrew Gosden has been missing from his home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire (UK) since September 14, 2007.
Then age 14, he left home that day to go to school. For reasons known only to Andrew, he returned from school after his parents had gone to work and changed out of his uniform. He then emptied his bank account (taking around £200) and, without leaving a note, went to Doncaster Railway Station and bought a one-way ticket to London's Kings Cross Station.
It is believed that he boarded a train at Doncaster Railway Station at 9-35am on that day arriving at London's Kings Cross Station at 11-20am. CCTV footage from Kings Cross Station on that day shows Andrew leaving the station. That is the last time he was seen.
Devastation is the only word that describes the effect of Andrew's disappearance on his family, who miss him as much today as on the day he disappeared, Over the years, numerous appeals for information about Andrew have been made, including searching of London by his parents themselves, All of these have produced no further leads to Andrew's whereabouts or to what happened to him.
