March for fair UN internships

Every year, the United Nations employs about 2,000 unpaid interns, working in some of the most expensive cities in the world. This policy rules out thousands of qualified young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, who simply can't afford it.

March 1st is Zero Discrimination Day. Also in March, delegates from the whole world will be meeting at the United Nations in New York to decide on administration and budgetary matters. This is a unique opportunity for the UN to finally adopt a fair and accessible internship program, by providing a basic living allowance to its interns and finally put an end to a discriminatory practice.

Show them you care and take part in that change by supporting our social media campaign.
