Young people with autism have lots to offer employers and the economy.

So why is it that for every young person with autism in full time work, there are 6 people with autism who are not?

It’s time to give young people with autism a fighting chance.

This World Autism Awareness Day, we want everybody to take notice of the terrible reality facing young people with autism as they look at moving on from education to employment.

So we’re launching Employ Autism, a youth led campaign, to get the right support and opportunities for young people with autism so they can learn, thrive and achieve.

Join our Thunderclap and start the conversation

It’s time for us to work together to give young people with autism a chance at making the ordinary possible by achieving what so many of us take for granted – having a job.

We're asking people with autism, politicians, employers, parents, carers and families to make some noise on 2nd April 2016 and say: “It’s time to give young people with autism a fighting chance.”

Are you with us? Let’s do this together.

Join Ambitious about Autism's #EmployAutism campaign on Thunderclap and help us reach as many people as possible.

How to show your support...

At the top of the page, click support via Twitter, Facebook, or both, and get the word out to your friends and followers to do the same.

On 2nd April 2016, your message will go out on social media along with all our other campaign supporters. Thank you.
