663 million people don’t have access to clean water - something we take for granted.
Project Waterfall is an initiative dedicated to giving back to coffee growing communities. They’re behind over 500 billion cups of coffee that we drink but don’t have the same basic human rights.
Through its UK Coffee Week Initiative (and other fundraisers) Project Waterfall is looking to raise awareness and valuable funds, having already raised over £325,000 for over 14,000 people in Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia.
We need you to help spread the word by clicking the button above to share our message with as many people as possible during this year’s UK Coffee Week (11-17 April).
If you want to do even more to make a difference, thousands of coffee shops and cafés are donating for every cup of coffee sold during UK Coffee Week. So, if you pop down to a participating outlet near you and buy your daily cup of coffee there, the cash will go straight to those who need it. You can find out who’s involved here.
Help spread the word and get the UK behind such a great cause.
BRITA and Lyons Coffee
BRITA and Lyons support of Project Waterfall and UK Coffee Week demonstrates their long-term commitment to helping provide clean water for coffee growing communities and raising awareness of the charity’s invaluable work.
By reducing the amount of limescale in your water, BRITA’s filtration technology helps consumers enjoy great tasting coffee, tea and food whether at home or in one of the nation’s cafés, coffee shops or restaurants. BRITA is headline sponsor of UK Coffee Week and donates money to the charity for every filter sold, with £20,000 raised in 2015.
Lyons individually wrapped coffee bags allow coffee lovers to enjoy 100% fresh roast and ground coffee anytime, anywhere. For each pack of Lyons sold, a donation is made to Project Waterfall to help provide clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities worldwide. Its fundraising target is £100,000 over the next three years.
