IT happened to me. I wasn't prepared. I wasn't screened. I didn't even know IT was a possibility. That's what our young survivors want to share with other young adults.
That IT is colon cancer, specifically colon cancer diagnosed before age 50. These young onset colon cancer survivors were misdiagnosed, ignored because of their age, ignored their symptoms, or had an unknown family history of the disease.
The Never Too Young Coalition is a group of like minded organizations dedicated to raising awareness about the increase of colon cancer in patients under the age of 50 when screening for this disease is recommended to begin.
Working together we can be more effective at increasing awareness around young onset colon cancer, providing education, and funding research.
June 5-11 will be our second annual "Young Survivors Week," connecting with patients, survivors, and caregivers to create buzz around young onset colon cancer. Join us to share theses stories and help others understand that IT can happen to anyone.

The Never Too Young Coalition looks to spread the word that colon cancer is on the rise in adults under 50. Join us to share a new video PSA encouraging young adults to take control of their health and get educated about the signs and symptoms of colon cancer as well as their personal family history.
