Wander Over Yonder is set to end on Monday June 27th, completing the show's run of Season 2 since August 2015, and the whole series since August 2013.
The final episodes starting May 30th towards June 27th would feature the rest of the third chunk (where Lord Dominator is destroying the galaxy, and the Mains: Wander, Sylvia, Lord Hater, and Commander Peepers, must stop her from causing further destruction one way or the other). However, show creator Craig McCracken (of Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home fame) had plans to evolve further the mains and journeys in Season 3 to then give it a proper wrap up just like Gravity Falls. The show was decided to be cancelled BEFORE Season 2 had a chance to premiere due to not so popular Season 1 ratings, yet decent reruns suggested to be used to save more money including S2 reruns.
It's a very fun, sweet Disney show filled with cartoony animation and designs, fun music and songs, nice stories, and sincere moments. It won an Annie Award for Best TV Animation Production (The Breakfast), and has recently grew buzz from the Musical Episode, My Fair Hatey.
It's crucial that Disney only cares about the show's potential if enough ratings within the key demographics (with App views and Digital Purchases), buzz, and merch. sales are in line with the #SaveWOY campaign letters and petitions. So I say we must watch the final episodes of Wander Over Yonder in huge turnouts if possible on legal platforms: DISNEY XD on Cable and Satellite Subscriptions. We must spread the word to any fan, non-fan, kids, families, and other folks to tune in on its premiere time at 8 PM Eastern in the TV Schedule. You can catch the early release on the WATCH DISNEY XD APP & ONLINE Midnight Pacific before its TV premiere. Then, buy the episodes the day after on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Instant. Disney checks for all of them in these financial factors. So let's tune in on TV, Online/App, or Digital Purchases to show Disney that Wander Over Yonder is just as popular as the past Disney animated shows.
