Too many companies in certain industries -- especially fashion and entertainment -- get away with unpaid internships because students are so eager for experience. Granted the economy is tough, but in too many cases, it's nothing more than exploitation of young talent. It does not cost that much to pay an intern and the benefits are numerous.

I have an acute awareness for their skill, talent, work ethic and ability to contribute. Don't want to see them taken advantage of or work for in an industry that does.
