Help us get kids EXCITED about learning to program!

Learning to code starts with strong logic and problem-solving skills. BotLogic.us helps players as young as 4 develop those skills by engaging them in programming activities that are both fun and challenging.

Kids and Coding—Where Innovation Starts

Innovation is the core driver of economic growth, and innovation starts with solid computer programming skills. Yet despite the fact that computer science jobs are among the highest paid, and demand for programmers is at an all-time high, fewer and fewer students are choosing to study computer science.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that demand for software developers will increase by as much as 32 percent by 2020. But according to statistics compiled by Code.org, only 2.4 percent of today’s college students graduate with computer science degrees. Why? The vast majority of schools offer very little in the way of programming education, and those courses that are offered are usually elective.

Teaching kids to code is vital, but schools are missing the mark. Without solid foundational skills and a passion for programming, kids won’t choose computer science careers, and without a generation of skilled and passionate programmers, innovation will slow.

What’s the answer? Introduce students to programming as early as possible, and keep them interested.

And how do we do it? Make programming fun!
