On 24th March, the 1st ever Kennedy's Disease Day in the UK takes place #KDPD
The day has been organised by UCL, MND Association and KD-UK.
The day will be the first time in the UK where healthcare professionals, researchers and people living with Kennedy's Disease and their families have got together to discuss the disease.
Here are ways you can get involved:
Join and support KD-UK http://kennedysdiseaseuk.com/ who are the only UK charity to raise funds for research into this disease.
Join and support the MND Association http://www.mndassociation.org/ who support people living with the disease through their network of MND Care Centres, through local branches and groups and through campaigning http://www.mndassociation.org/get-involved/campaigning-influencing/
UCL http://www.uclh.nhs.uk/OurServices/ServiceA-Z/Neuro/MND/Pages/Home.aspx where the Kennedy's Disease Clinic is located. Together we are working to end this #raredisease.
On 24th March, UCL, MND Association & KD-UK are working together to hold the 1st ever Kennedy's Disease Day in UK for healthcare professionals, researchers & people affected by the disease & their families. Kennedy's Disease is a rare inherited neuromuscular disorder which affects mobility & your ability to talk & swallow.
