Watch the trailer now and share the full video on Wednesday 22 March 2017. Don't let autism and learning disability hate crime go unseen and unreported.

Who is Sam?

In October we launched #ImWithSam, our national campaign against autism and learning disability hate crime, on the BBC Breakfast sofa to the nation.

Sam is a fictional character created to represent the 73% of people with learning disabilities and autism who have experienced hate crime.*

All stories are from real people.

All stories are an example of hate crime.

What are we doing?

We're working with our campaign partners and influencers to change not only how hate crime is prevented, but also how victims and witnesses understand and report autism and learning disability hate crime.

It takes public pressure to make change happen

How will this help?

The public voice has power. The stronger the pressure, the greater our influence will be to successfully achieve our 8 objectives. We're tackling hate crime from all angles; its roots (education), how victims are supported (the police) and how offenders are prosecuted (the Crown Prosecution Service).
Sign up to support #ImWithSam and hear about what we've already done and what we're doing to help Sam.
