You can help in the fight against hunger, and it’s easy.

On Saturday, May 13—for the 25th year in a row!—the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive will once again spread out across America to help provide assistance to Americans who are struggling with hunger.

Just leave a bag (or bags) of non-perishable food by your mailbox before your regular mail pick-up on Saturday May 13, and your letter carrier will do the rest. All food collected goes directly to food banks and pantries in your local community.

The Food Drive effort is the nation's largest single-day drive. In 2016, 80 million pounds of food was collected, which brought the grand total of donations to more than 1.5 billion pounds of food collected since the first national food drive in 1993.

  • You did it! Goal achieved!

    May 11, 2017
Thanks to your efforts (and our nagging, maybe), we hit our goal of at least 500 supporters for our #StampOutHunger Thunderclap!

Thank you! Look for the social media posts to launch at 2 p.m. ET tomorrow (Friday).

And we'll see you on Saturday, May 13, in more than 10,000 cities and towns all across America (states, territories, districts) as we work together—for the 25th consecutive year—to #StampOutHunger!

The Letter Carriers’ “Stamp Out Hunger”® Food Drive is the nation's largest single-day food collection effort. On Saturday, May 13—for the 25th year in a row—countless letter carriers and volunteers across the U.S. will collect bags of non-perishable food left by mailboxes in an effort to help stock local food pantries.
