Finally! The book created to accelerate your personal branding success.

How do you market yourself today? What’s it take to create a personal brand in the complex world of digital media?

Authors Seth Price and Barry Feldman have examined these questions and transformed their years of hard work into:

  • 26 answers—an A-to- Z guide detailing the exact strategies and tactics accomplished personal branders master
  • A roadmap you can use to accelerate your professional success in any
  • niche
  • Insights from many of today’s best-known entrepreneurs and business leaders
The Road to Recognition is available now on Amazon & Barnes & Noble.

Why a book on personal branding?

You have a brand. You may not realize it. You’ve been cultivating your brand for ages in the form of word-of-mouth, your footprint on the web, and your career accomplishments.

Today, the stakes are higher. It’s no longer enough to be excellent at what you do. You need to convince others of your excellence and take an active role in how you are perceived in the world. Even the President of the United States has a website, creates content and converses on social media.

The Road To Recognition is the book that paves the path for your personal brand success. You’ll learn how to master the art and science of personal branding like world-class marketing professionals.

Who should read this book?

ENTREPRENEURS
You’ll give your business a distinct and powerful advantage when you’re recognized as a leader and authority in your field.

BUSINESS LEADERS
Executives can catapult their careers and their company’s success by applying the best practices of personal branding.

ASPIRING PROFESSIONALS
Are you a student or professional newcomer? The Road to Recognition is the critical course colleges don’t (yet) offer.

CREATIVES
If your calling is to create, creating a name for yourself will heighten demand for your products and services.

MARKETERS
Your name may be the brand you struggle to develop. This book is your roadmap and will guide you to new levels of achievement.

SECOND CAREERIST
Changing careers? Accelerate your success with the power of personal branding and enjoy a more rewarding ride.

Here’s an overview of the first 10 chapters

A
A is for Authenticity

Anything other than the real you won’t do. Discover exactly what makes you fascinating. Build your brand on your true strengths.

A
B is for Blog

The most important personal branding development in the age of digital media is the power to publish at will and express your ideas. You need to start a blog and keep building on it.

C
C is for Content

Valuable content has magnetic power. On your blog—or in addition to it — create an interesting mix of content in various formats to earn the mindshare and trust your brand needs.

D
D is for Design

Everything you create should be presented with class and continuity. Develop a tasty logo, color palette, and design standards that reflect well on your brand.

E
E is for Email

Email is your ace, the money medium. It’s private, permission-based and pervasive. Commit to developing an email list and using it to nurture relationships with your subscribers.

F
F is for Followers

You can’t have a brand without an audience. Social media makes it possible to develop a tribe of followers — like-minded people with common interests — you’ll aim to educate and inspire.

G
G is for Google

Think of Google as the business card the entire world has instant access to. You need to “Google yourself,” evaluate the results and create and execute a plan to look good in the eyes of the searcher.

H
H is for Helping

Don’t wait for opportunities to come to you. Find ways to be helpful. Be the first to volunteer, connect people, or get behind meaningful missions.

I
I is for Influencers

Influential professionals have prominent friends. Seek out leaders, surround yourself with them, and find ways to be of value to them.

J
J is for Joining

Affiliations are all-important to the growth of your brand. Find groups you’d be proud to be a part of, get involved and make your presence known.

Why we wrote the book

For decades now, we’ve been learning about, practicing and teaching personal branding tactics to achieve professional success. Our hope is you’re going to have it easier.

For Seth, his education had little (okay, nothing) to do with his success. Seth dropped out of high school at 15. He dropped out of college at 18 and started his first business the same year. He then went on to build four multimillion dollar business, help raise over $100M in venture funding, and along the way, wore all the go-to-market required to grow a customer base from zero to 450K in less than five years—without the pedigree generally required to succeed.

Barry? He didn’t drop out of any schools, but wandered around quite a bit in the agency business, formed Feldman Creative in the 90s, and rode the waves up and down along with the economy. It wasn’t until this decade that Barry focused on building his own brand.

The important things you need to know in order to build a recognized personal brand is in our new book, The Road to Recognition.
