by Faithful Internet category: Cause
Faith communities and people of moral
conscience--no matter our beliefs--rely on the Internet to build community, care for the world's children, protect the earth, share the Divine, and gather funds to support our work. The Internet should be open to everyone, no matter what we believe or how much money we have.
In 2015, Faithful Internet was part of a nationwide campaign to protect an open Internet, and we're campaigning today to preserve it. On July 12, the Internet will join together to protect everyone's right to speak and be heard online.
This is not an issue just for geeks and techs. Join us to gather signatures showing all people of faith need Net Neutrality.
We are a project coordinated by the United Church of Christ OC, Inc. with assistance from the Stanford Law School Center for Internet and Society. We are your one-stop education resource to understand why Internet freedom is essential for the future of religious and spiritual life, interfaith cooperation, and service in America.
