Birth Trauma Awareness Week

Traumatic childbirth is a daily reality for thousands of women. It can cause physical injuries and mental health difficulties which can have a lifelong impact on women and their families. An estimated 3% of women suffer from post traumatic stress disorder following a traumatic birth - about 20,000 women in the UK alone. The Birth Trauma Association works tirelessly to prevent this and to provide support for women and their families who have been through a traumatic birth. In Birth Trauma Awareness Week 14-21 August join us to raise awareness, raise funds and raise your voice. Let's make change happen!
