This campaign aims to increase awareness of the importance of positive youth development in all aspects of health. Each young person deserves the right to reach their fullest potential, armed with the knowledge to make informed choices that are their own.
Department of Health and Human Services eliminated Office of Adolescent Health funding for Spartanburg two years early after a 50% decline in teen pregnancy. Spartanburg is affected--everyday another kid becomes a teen, do they have the high quality services they need to be healthy? This leaves many youth without the services and supports that they need to be safe and to make positive decisions.
