iMarch for Immigration

In 2013, New American Economy (NAE) and dozens of other organizations joined together to launch the largest-ever virtual march for immigration reform. This December—timed to end-of-year negotiations on the DREAM Act and other legislative priorities—NAE and its partners will take the iMarch offline as well, with events in all 50 states and Washington, DC. To engage policymakers from both parties and demonstrate the overwhelming bipartisan support for immigration reform, we’ll hold a “Pass the Baton” series of events all across the country, online and offline, featuring leaders in agriculture, business, education, manufacturing, tech, faith, hospitality and tourism, military, political leadership, Dreamers, celebrities and other key constituencies.

Our goal is to reach across parties and states to build an army of immigration reform supporters all over the country and share their stories with members of Congress. To do that, we’ll engage leaders and advocates from every background and sector in our economy. The first step is to join this Thunderclap, which will go live on Day 1 of the iMarch in December!
