by Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas category: Health
Each year, thousands of infants without access to their mothers' own milk receive donor human milk from Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas. Generous, screened mothers producing breastmilk in excess of their own babies' needs donate their milk, which is processed, pasteurized, and tested in our lab before being dispensed to hospital NICUs and outpatient babies at home. The demand for donor milk has increased in recent years, causing a major growth spurt for MMBNT.
With no room to spare in our current location, we are moving into a new home so we can continue to grow and serve more infants. This building will triple our current capacity for milk processing, as well as provide much-needed community education and office space. Many foundations and individuals have contributed to the campaign, but we still need your help to finish funding the project. Will you help us make More Room for More Miracles?
