A six year, Billion-Dollar reconstruction of the Mass Pike
Allston Interchange is coming. Beacon Yards, also known as the land under the
Mass Pike in Allston, can be one of Boston’s best new neighborhood’s of the
21st Century. The land is owned by Harvard University which has big plans
for new construction in Allston.
To realize its potential, this new Allston neighborhood needs more transit,
less traffic, human-scaled streets, parkland with a great connection to the
Charles River, and to be a better neighbor to its Allston abutters.
Please join us in asking the Commonwealth to build train and bus connections FIRST, ahead of the six years of construction, to ensure safer streets for all.
