Getting to Zero HIV Infections

We’re headed for zero – and we need your help to get there.

Today, and every day, 900 children are infected with HIV. That is 900 too many. We know we can get the number of new infections to zero and we’ve joined the global health community in setting a goal to do so by 2015.

As we approach World AIDS Day on Saturday, December 1, will you pledge to help end pediatric AIDS

We have nearly eliminated pediatric AIDS in the United States – and we know how to end it worldwide. We can eliminate the transmission of HIV from mother to child, and with your help we will draw the attention needed to give all children a healthy start at life.

Organizer

Elizabeth Glaser PAF

At the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation our mission is to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs. We're closer than ever to achieving this goal. We have the medicines and the knowledge to reduce the risk that an HIV-positive mother will transmit the virus to her baby to virtually zero; to protect virtually every child from being born with HIV, but it will take the support of the global community to make it happen.
