The County Health Rankings show us where we live matters to our health. The Rankings, a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI), compare counties within each state on more than 30 factors that influence how well and how long we live including education, jobs, and housing. Now in its 9th year, the Rankings continue to bring data to communities across the nation to inform their priorities and bring partners together to improve health.
Building a Culture of Health means creating a society where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to live the healthiest life possible. On March 14th, find out more about the health of your county – and how to take action – at www.countyhealthrankings.org.
The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program and the RWJF Culture of Health Prize help communities identify and implement solutions that make it easier for people to be healthy in their homes, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
Ranking the health of nearly every county in the nation, the County Health Rankings illustrate what we know when it comes to what is making people sick or healthy. The Roadmaps show what we can do to create healthier places to live, learn, work, and play. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) collaborates with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) to bring this program to towns, cities, and counties across the nation.
