by World Hepatitis Alliance category: Health
No one should have to live with viral hepatitis without knowing. Yet more than 290 million men, women and children globally do. Many people can live with viral hepatitis for decades without symptoms or feeling sick. Unless detected and treated, it can cause liver disease, cirrhosis and liver cancer. Getting tested is the only way to know if you are infected.
On World Hepatitis Day 2018, the World Hepatitis Alliance will launch Find the Missing Millions, a global campaign to raise awareness of viral hepatitis, increase testing both at an individual and policy level and improve linkage to care. Join the Quest to #FindtheMissingMillions.
