Enter the world of Positron

Where can I download it?
The latest demo for the game will be made available for download on the 1st of February. This campaign here is designed to help spread the word of the impending demo release. Please hit the Twitter/Facebook/Tumblr buttons above to pledge your support. Thanks!

What is Positron?

Positron is a hybrid puzzle / arcade / racing game inspired by a few old classics with a few modern touches added. It features Arena, Maze, and Race game modes which offer a range of levels and challenges for players of all ages to enjoy. More details and video of the game in action can be seen on the game's Steam Greenlight page:

Who am I?
I've been hooked on game development since I was a child with my first experience of programming BASIC on my ZX Spectrum. Over the past 20 years I have kept up with my hobby and have worked on numerous games and mods, many of which never saw public release and were put away on an old backup drive somewhere.

I have worked on this game on-and-off for the past two years in what little free time I have along side my full time day job and spending time with my family (my Wife and I have four children aged 7, 4, 2, and 1).

Why I need your help:
My game Positron is the first game I've made that I have seen real potential in as a commercial product. Not only that, but everyone that has played the previous betas or tried it at events says they love it and can't wait to see the completed version.

I've set myself a goal to get the final completed demo of the game released on February 1st 2014. Around the same time I also plan to release the full game on Android and hope these two events will help me drive traffic to my Steam Greenlight campaign for the game:

The demo will be release no matter what the outcome of this little Thunderclap campaign is, but I'd really appreciate it if you could help spread the word and let people know that the game is available to download. By supporting this campaign you'll be expanding my potential audience and will be introducing people to the world of Positron.

Thanks for the support and please help us get more supporters by letting your friends now about this campaign :)

    Thanks to everyone that has supported the campaign thus far. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to tweet and share the link to the campaign to see if we can get some of your friends to help support the campaign too. The more people we get on board the wider the potential audience that will see the message go out on February 1st!

@martincaine

I'm a professional game developer and father of four. I've been working on Positron in my spare time along side work and family and it's been in development for a long time! I'm now approaching the final release and can't wait to get it out in the wild for people to play.
