Happy (10:) Birthday Facebook!

On the 10th birthday of our beloved Facebook (4th of February), why don't we all give the best present ever? If it were a kid, it would be 10 years old... So, let's all collect as many signatures as we can from all over the world.

The more signatures, the better gift, don't you think? It's never too late for the company to take action and show to the whole world that, first of all it respects children!

We, Internet users wish Happy Birthday and jointly demand from Facebook to respect children's online rights! More specifically:

• to stop having public profiles by default, because in this way underage users are exposed to danger
• to respect its obligations towards the law and
• to identify the users in such a way as to exclude children under 13 years of age.

So simple as thumbs up for the idea: Like it? Sign it...

  • 47.225 thank you!!!

    February 12, 2014
The moment of truth arrived on Safer Internet Day wishing and demanding as well for online children's rights!

Happy (10:) Birthday Facebook! was being shared on Facebook and Twitter by 108 supporters to a broader audience of 47,225 contacts!

    Keep on signing

  • Almost there!!!

    February 9, 2014
Almost one day is left and 17 more supporters needed, just share the idea!

So far 87 friends have supported the cause with their over 30.000+ contacts they have. We thank them deeply for their committment!

Keep calm & in mind that only if the goal is reached, the message is known to the broader audience...

    Keep it up,
    IToday.
  • Progress Update of (y)our campaign

    February 5, 2014
First of all, we'd like to thank you for your support on wishing to Facebook and demanding from the company to respect children's online rights!

We are a few clicks from reaching our common goal, so with a little help of at least one of your friend-contacts to Add his/her Support is going to be fine.

On Safer Internet Day (11th of FeBruary), we will make sure that Facebook gets the message and eventually finds a technical solution to respect children's right to innocence.

39 more supporters needed, you know what to do and keep in mind that only if the goal is reached, the message is tipped...

    Best,
    IToday.

Facebook company must find a technical solution not to sign up children under 13, as it is required by the law to do so. Since 8th of September 2013, more than 1.300 members joined the campaign and demand from the company at last to respect the children's online rights. If you like the cause, share the idea!
