CottBot is a values-driven boycott management tool for ethical consumers, community and non-profit organizations to expose business and charity agendas that undermine your core principals.
CottBot uses a social-network model to collect and distribute important information between members who share your values. This allows you to make informed decisions on where your money goes and what your money does after it has left your pocket. This increases your economic impact on the issues you care most about while curtailing your money being funneled into agendas that attack you.

I am very concerned about what happens to my money once it leaves my pocket. I do what I can to make ethical consumer choices, but it is hard work to research and collect timely and relevant information. And harder yet to keep all that information handy when I need it most. After Arizona passed its "Religious Freedom to Discriminate" bill, a boycott of the entire state of Arizona was called for. I felt that reaction would be ultimately self-defeating since it would economically deprive our allies fighting against this mentality on the front lines. We need to continue to support our allies while boycotting with surgical precision those who seek to undermine us. Thus, the CottBot idea was born.
