How do you stop sex trafficking at the Super Bowl?
Simple: stop the demand for commercial sex.
The conditions around large sporting events like the Super Bowl foster an increased demand for purchasing sex. How?
Major sporting events attract large numbers of males who gather from across the country into a concentrated, geographic area. With disposable income, and the celebratory, party atmosphere of such events, some of these men seek to buy sex. This leads sex traffickers, enticed by the potential for greater profits, to increase the supply of sexually trafficked persons in that area.
Help us combat sex trafficking associated with large sporting events by tackling the demand. Without the demand of sex buyers there would be no sex trafficking.
Join the #TACKLEDEMAND social media campaign to help raise
awareness and send the message that buying sex promotes sex trafficking.
