For the moment, no one person or entity owns the web -- it belongs to all of us.But things could be changing. As billions more people come online in the next decade, they may not have as much choice, privacy, and control as we have.
There has never been a more important time to fight for a Web that serves the public good and doesn't leave users in the dark. The Web shouldn't be closed off from everyone, and it shouldn't be controlled by a few powerful people. That's why Mozilla’s mission sets us apart. We’re not a company, we are a non-profit movement that is building the Web the world needs, but we need your help. This is our big year-end fundraiser and we need your support to keep protecting the open Web in 2014.
Our mission is to promote openness, innovation & opportunity on the Web.
At Mozilla, we’re a global community of technologists, thinkers and builders working together to keep the Internet alive and accessible, so people worldwide can be informed contributors and creators of the Web. We believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to individual growth and our collective future.
