Wear Blue To Raise Colon Cancer Awareness.
By wearing blue on Friday, March 7, you can help create a wave of attention surrounding colon cancer, a disease that people often remain silent about. According to the American Cancer Society, colon cancer is the second deadliest cancer, claiming an estimated 50,000 lives in 2013.
Genentech has teamed up with the Colon Cancer Alliance to raise awareness about the disease. Every four minutes, a person is diagnosed with colon cancer. Help us spread the word and dress in blue to support the many people and their loved ones living with colon cancer!
Here’s how you show your blue:
1. Click “Support with Twitter” or “Support with Facebook” and get the word out to your followers and friends.
2. Go to www.dressinblueday.org for resources and ways to raise further awareness.
3. On Thurs, March 6, watch as everyone's messages are shared all at once.
On March 7, we’ll see you … in blue!
